Come join a fantastic team! Your work helps secure Leica's position as a leading microscopy company and enables our customers to use the products to their full extent and safely.

You are part of our cross-disciplinary and global team. In your role, you are an important part of the project team and are involved in new developments and the market launch of new products. Based on customer and cross-departmental information, as well as independent research and investigation, you continuously develop our user manuals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creation and Maintenance of Technical User Documentation
  • Publication, Translation and Document Management
  • Cross functional Collaboration with Internal and External Partners

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • Advanced training as a technical writer (Bachelor's or Master's degree) or multiple years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Technical knowledge, e.g. based on a technical education, design theory and/or technical work experience is of advantage and experience in creating documents in an international operating company
  • High level of service orientation, ability to work as part of a team, with good communication skills and motivation
  • Knowledge in office tools is mandatory and ideally knowledge of relevant software like FrameMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

Willingness to travel up to approx. 10% overnight in Europe
