Dr. Michael Fritz He holds a PhD in media sciences and a degree in Business Administration and specializes in Marketing. He worked for several associations, e.g. as Head of an institute for lifelong learning. Since 1996 he is Managing Director of Gesellschaft für technische Kommunikation e.V. tekom. Since 2001 he is also Managing Director of TC and more GmbH, a company providing services for tekom.
Rita Allmendinger Rita Allmendinger has got a degree in Applied Linguistics. She has been working as a technical writer for over 20 years for companies such as Sony and Daimler. In 2009 she started her own company in Technical documentation giving expertise and coaching.
Dr. Daniela Straub Graduated in Psychology. She has been working for tekom in different consultancy projects since 2003 where she conducts empirical studies about technical communication. Furthermore she organises and conducts benchmarking workshops for technical communication managers of several companies. Besides this she is involved in the development of the tekom guidelines for further education and of tekom’s certification system for technical writers.
Michael Scholand After graduating in Translation and Applied Languages he worked as a translator, project manager and localisation specialist at companies in England and Germany. In 1999, he co-founded STAR Spain, heading the company as CEO. Besides, he has lectured on computer assisted translation at various Spanish Universities. In 2006, he followed a Master in Quality Management at the UPC Barcelona.
Britta Izadi worked and studied Spanish in Barcelona, before receiving a bachelors and masters at the University of Vienna. Since 1995, she worked as a freelance translator and a German, English and Spanish teacher, before joining MultiLing. Presently she is the manager of business development for MultiLing Germany GmbH.
Xavier Maza
has a degree in translation and interpreting. Currently he is Language Services Manager at iDisc Information Technologies. He has dealt with translators, PMs and engineering, currently he supervises operations, purchasing, and customer services and quotes in a business development role. He speaks Catalan, Spanish and English and he is good at Danish and has some Russian.
