Wiesbaden – a charming city at the heart of Europe

Wiesbaden, located  in the Rhein-Main area, is a favorite place for conferences in Germany. Wiesbaden is easily accessible from Frankfurt Rhein-Main Airport in just 20 minutes by car and 35 minutes by commuter train (S-Bahn). The Wiesbaden Main Station is a hub for major Eurocity and Intercity lines as well as foreign lines.

The Wiesbaden commuter train (S-Bahn) provides a direct connection to the airport as well as to the near-by cities of Frankfurt and Mainz. The Rhein-Main transport association offers tickets, which are valid for all federal German railroad trains and public buses in the region. Eight toll-free freeways (Autobahn) run by Wiesbaden coming from all directions.

You have just had an exciting and successful day at the conference? Then it is time for a bit of relaxation. Check out one of Wiesbaden’s many sites and attractions. For example, the Kaiser-Friedrich-Baths, a modern city spa on the site of an antique bath house. This hot spring with its curative water was discovered by the Romans some 2000 years ago but still remains a hot tip today. One among 26 hot water springs, it is an oasis of relaxation.
Another place of retreat is the thermal spa at Aukammtal, which has re-established itself as a modern health spa, following intensive modernization.

Wiesbaden combines the antique with the modern lifestyle and luxury. Dolce Vita sums up the spirit of this sparkling city, which revels in many joyous street celebrations and wine festivals. The baroque municipal theater, the historic Kurhaus, the museums and various cabaret theaters offer a lot of culture and refinement. Wiesbaden impresses with a unique architecture artful buildings.
