Inherited burdens still persist

Well! The latest version of FrameMaker covers - just like before - the Asian market. But FrameMaker 7.1 is still anything but groundbreaking. The failures are all too blatantly obvious. For example, in the year of EU’s Eastward Expansion the tool does not officially cover Eastern Europe. The same goes for the Asian countries: One doesn’t have to search for long to discover obvious shortcomings. FrameMaker would have been pushed out into the cold long ago, had it not been for resourceful users finding solutions outside of the official Adobe policy. The main issue: FrameMaker does not support Unicode.
