USA has intensified its conditions for product monitoring of motor vehicles and motor vehicle accessories. This legal initiative has been triggered by the instances of recalls by the manufacturers without informing the insurance companies. This has resulted in "Tread Act", which makes the manufacturer liable to inform the authorities directly and this also pertains to the technical document as a part of the product.
